Here's Saint Pepsi's Remix of Erik Hassle's "Talk About It"

What is "vaporwave?" Does it exist? Is Saint Pepsi part of it? Who cares, this remix rules.

Saint Pepsi is a producer called Ryan DeRobertis. According to some people Saint Pepsi makes music that could be classed as "vaporwave," which is easily the worst genre tag we've heard since witch house. We imagine the proponents of "vaporwave" to be insufferably smug with very few social skills to speak of, so we're not even going to dignify vaporwave with an explanation, nor claim Saint Pepsi is part of it.

Really all you need to know is that earlier this month we premiered Erik Hassle's video for "Talk About It" and three weeks on we're still very much enamored the slow, sexy anguish of his comeback tune. It's a tough track to better, but Saint Pepsi sinks this song into aquatic, booming sonics and cut and paste, D&B beat switch-ups. If you like either Gold Panda or Deptford Goth, you will like this guy.

Download Saint Pepsi's tune "Unhappy," here, for free. It will do the opposite of what it says on the tin. Or get his LP in full. Also free! Generous. Additionally, it's worth checking out is his pitchshifted remixify of "Call Me Maybe." So basically what we're saying in relation to Saint Pepsi is: get on board.
