Kate Boy's Live Video for "Self Control" Is a Potent Reminder of Why They Rule

It's their first new track in a year…

Oh Kate Boy! We've missed you! It's been over a year since we sat down with them and a plate of fried chicken, but at last the Stockholm-based trio are back with the first new track in just as long. Out on 8/19 via IAMSOUND/Island Records, "Self Control" is classic Kate Boy: crisp as freshly pressed linen, with just the right proportions of Knife-like cool, Kate Bush-esque vocal elasticity, and sexy synth-pop. It's also proof positive that they can reproduce their slick studio sound live. And that boys and girls wearing the same clothes is ever so chic.
