PREMIERE: Cali Rapper Antwon Celebrates Good Sex with "Girl, Flex"

The Cali indie rap vet serves absurdist, explicit sex rap over a bruised, bombastic beat.

Hot on the heels of his whirlwind We Stole Hip-Hop tour with Ratking's Wiki, San Jose rapper Antwon returns today with "Girl, Flex," the latest from Double Ecstasy, a new EP and Antwon's first with the legendary rap indie label anticon. Produced in tandem by LA studio whiz Lars Stalfors, who has worked with everyone from HEALTH to Mars Volta, and Toronto duo Bad Channels, "Girl, Flex" is absurdist, explicit sex rap served over a bruised, bombastic beat that sways like reggae (shouts out Mad Cobra) but trickles out much too slowly to wine to. It sounds like sex, just the kind where you're both a touch too faded for the formalities. Stream "Girl, Flex" below and pre-order Double Ecstasy, out this Friday, April 1 on anticon, on iTunes right here.
