King Krule's highly anticipated second album, The OOZ, drops next Friday (13 October), and to whet fans' appetites, the artist otherwise known as Archy Marshall has shared another new track, "Half Man, Half Shark."

Differing slightly from the others he's released so far – "Czech One" and "Dum Surfer" – "Half Man, Half Shark," which he's played live on a few occasions, is more direct and rhythmic. There's a high-in-the-mix bassline over which Krule roars spit-soaked vocals at the listener like a heretic on a high street, though towards the end of the meandering track he does fall back into the almost surreal lounge style he flirted with on "Czech One".

Altogether, its the creation of a pretty singular musical mind, and for my money, it's the most interesting thing we've heard from The OOZ so far. Check it above and succumb to King Krule's unique brand of barb intertwined with tenderness.
