Watch Nardwuar Interviewing Solange and Destiny's Child in 2002

"Tap dance is kind of like a forgotten artistry isn't it there, Solange?"

The only two reasons I would ever seriously pursue a career in music are thus: 1) the possibility of getting to make a music video where I wear a catsuit, and 2) to be interviewed by Nardwuar. Nardwuar is the finest music journalist in the world. This is cold, hard fact. His interviews are legendary (being mean to him books you a one way ticket straight to the fiery pits of hell), and he's been active for so long that his archive must be an oral history of popular music all by itself. Generously, he recently shared a couple short clips from that archive featuring two of 2016's biggest stars – Solange and Beyoncé (as part of Destiny's Child) – all the way back in 2002. Between breaking down the realities of Eminem's final rap battle in 8 Mile with Solange and chasing after Beyoncé, who obviously sashays off to be chauffeured about in a golf buggy, it is vintage Nardwuar and it will warm your heart.  Watch the clips below:
