After watching the BC rapper last year at a show in skatepark, we've kept an eye on Golden. His odd voice and odder lyrics are reminiscent of Danny Brown. His singsong rap flow is often moody and delves into topics of excess and getting nasty. Plus, Golden is fun to look at. His latest video for "No Games," produced and shot by BDice, shows a weed grow heist as Golden croons. "You ain't never gettin' back what you lost," he says."When Bdice and I started making the beat I asked him too add some dogs barking," Golden wrote to Noisey about the song, "We planned to have a lot of big dogs in the video, but the day before the shoot I was talking with some friends at Ross'Gold and we came up with something slightly different… Okay a lot different. The visuals happened to work well with what I was saying in the song and I think it turned out better then a bunch of dogs. And I really like dogs." Watch Golden's "No Games" below:
