Here's TORRES's Haunting New Video For "Three Futures"

The song is taken from her upcoming album, also titled 'Three Futures.'

We conjectured a while ago that it might not be long until we had ourselves a third album announcement from singer/songwriter/musician/probable genius Torres, and we were correct. Today, TORRES brings news of her third album Three Futures, which is due for release on September 29, via 4AD. To sweeten the deal even further, she's also back with another new track and music video.

"Three Futures" is the album's title track, and the video carries with it a similar feel to her previous visual for "Skim," which was also directed by Ashley Connor. This time around, TORRES plays three different characters in a hauntingly ordinary home setting (I'm put in mind a little of "Digital Witness"-era St. Vincent in terms of subject matter, as well as in terms of the general standard of cool on show), exploring sexuality, mundanity, repression, and, on a more complex level, our complicated relationships with ourselves.

Watch above (also just a head's up, just like all the best music videos, it's a little NSFW.)
