Ethan Kath's defamation suit against former bandmate Alice Glass has been dismissed, Glass said Friday via Twitter.

Kath (real name Claudio Palmieri) filed the lawsuit last November in response to Glass' allegations that Kath had been sexually and emotionally abusive to her throughout the band's history. Glass (real name Margaret Osborn) said in a lengthy, disturbing blog post in October that Kath had allegedly abused her since she was 15 and that his behaviour was the reason she left Crystal Castles. The post went viral and Crystal Castles, which Kath is still a member of, were subsequently dropped from several festival lineups. Toronto police confirmed in December that they were investigating Kath for sex crimes. Kath has repeatedly denied the allegations, saying that Glass left Crystal Castles due to mental health and drug issues. We've reached out to Glass' representatives for further comment.
