Following the premature passing of emo-rapper Lil Peep last year, his legacy has been kept alive by his friends, family, and music industry peers. Following tributes and a new music video, today we're hearing a new Peep track – "4 Gold Chains" – produced by Clams Casino. You can listen above.

It's a muted listen with atmospheric production from Clams, and sees Peep firmly at home in the emo-meets-trap territory that he helped to found. Its hook sees him singing about the double-sided nature of his fame (Fame bring pain, but the pain make money"), and makes for an especially sad listen in hindsight. "4 Gold Chains" is accompanied by visuals which depict Peep singing the track, which you can also see above.

While every new Peep release is a reminder of a devastating loss of talent, they're also comforting indicators that he continues to live on through music, his fans, and those who worked with and alongside him.
