Harsh noise queen Pharmakon is back to lovingly annihilate eardrums with a new song literally called "Transmission." It's the first song from her upcoming album Contact, out on March 31st. Entering with a series of clanging false starts, "Transmission" eventually centres itself around an arrhythmic, pulsing fizz that Pharmakon mastermind Margaret Chardiet layers her processed yelps and screams over.According to a press release, Contact marks the 10-year anniversary of the Pharmakon project and will concern "the moments when our mind can come outside of and transcend our bodies."
