"Hear ye, hear ye," I say in my town crier voice, with one hand on my phone, which displays The Distillers' Twitter page, and one hand on my town crier bell, obvi. "The Distillers have announced six tour dates for 2018. Music is saved!" I end my town crier announcement. I put my bell back on its shelf. My housemates look annoyed because they were trying to sleep.Anyway what I'm telling you is: The Distillers, who, a couple of weeks ago, teased a 2018 reunion, have now confirmed that reunion, by announcing six US concerts for April and May this year. They'll be stopping by Arizona, California, and Texas (no UK or European dates juuuust yet but we live in hope), and the lucky people in those locales – or those willing to travel – will be able to buy tickets tomorrow (Friday 18 January) from 10AM PST. Fingers crossed that more shows are announced soon for the rest of us.
