Real Lies Give a Track-By-Track of their Debut Album While Getting Haircuts and Necking Tinnies

"Number two back and sides, and nu lad on top."

John Doran, off of British Masters, describes North London's Real Lies as "a pop band who have feet planted firmly in the traditions of love-lorn synth pop, Madchester-era rave influenced anthems and big room house music." Although sonically Real Lies are an echo chamber of past influences mixed with the contemporary ambience of Burial or Jamie xx, their defining factor is the thouroughly modern ennui that infects lyrics like "I'd rather take my daugher drinking than spend another night with you."
