Jenno Bjørnkjær and Katherine Mills Romans are the LA-based duo behind OOFJ. The project started up after the pair worked together on the soundtrack for Lars von Trier's Melancholia, so you might not be surprised to hear the sonics on their track "Pinstripe Suit," which meanders through French cold wave, minimal synth, and dreary shoegaze. They just sent us this video, which should get you excited for their upcoming record, Disco To Die To, which is out April 29. We asked our buddies at Noisey Germany what they thought of it, and they told us they see the video as "kind of a mixture between 9 1/2 Weeks and Oshima's In the Realm of the Senses." Sounds good to us.
