It’s a basic fact of life that you can’t expect to make shit loads of cash if your mind is elsewhere (unless you’re a reality star or the heir of a huge fortune). In Liana Bank$ case, that means forgetting about the guy she’s into, and choosing bills, bills, bills instead.

“Started slacking on my job just to be with that boy, started flaking on the squad just to be with that boy,” the 25-year-old New Yorker sings on “M.O.N”, her voice packed with the kind of sultry, laidback tones to rival Rihanna’s. “Caught him running with them hoes, now I’m leaving that boy” she adds, celebrating her independence over slow-burning beats and R&B flourishes. The track marks the second offering from Liana’s debut mixtape Insubordinate, so watch this space.
