Have You Seen a Video as Gorgeous as Aidan Knight's "All Clear" This Year?

The film is set in a 70s experimental therapy clinic where weird doctors smoke cigarettes and grow moustaches on their faces.

The debut single from Canadian troubadour Aidan Knight is bolstered with a wildly surreal video. In fact, we'd go as far to say it's one of the most beautifully shot videos we've seen this year. In parts it's visually reminiscent of Wes Anderson, aurally on the same plain as aspects of early Sufjan Stevens but altogether more majestic. The film is set in a 70s experimental therapy clinic where weird doctors who smoke cigarettes and grow moustaches on their face bang hammers into their subject's knees, before morphing into a psychedelic trip-out.

Here's what the video's directing team Ft Langley had to say about the film: "We’d heard about Primal Therapy, a briefly popular method from the 70s where you would scream and cry in a pitch black room. We took the ideas of primal therapy and turned it into something fantastical and over the top, a different more bizarre form of experimental therapy. We dropped Aidan into our odd 80s world and took him on a sinister trip."
