I have a question: is there any song with a type of car in its title which has not been subsequently accompanied by a music video in which the artist is featured driving this type of car? I think probably there are very few examples of this, and they all need music videos ASAP (looking at you, Frank Ocean.) Because footage of pretty people driving atmospherically may well be the most relaxing thing in the world, kind of like ASMR for your eyes.Lana Del Rey well knows this, and has delivered a video for her Lust for Life track "White Mustang" which, thank god, sees her driving a white Mustang around Los Angeles. There's also a weird, doomed-relationship narrative going on alongside the Icelandic actor and musician Eðvarð Egilsson (can't decide whether he looks like someone from Game of Thrones or just like, a barista), and Lana spends the whole thing swishing around in a long, drape-y gown, which is how you know that she really is our Stevie Nicks.
