Kodak Black Has Been Accused of Assaulting a Woman in Miami

The Florida rapper has found himself in more legal trouble.

Kodak Black can't seem to get out of his own way. Instead of celebrating his recently-released debut album, Painting Pictures, the Florida rapper is currently incarcerated for violating the terms of his probation for charges related to selling drugs, running from cops, and firearm possession. He is also awaiting trial for charges of criminal sexual misconduct in South Carolina, which could result in a 30-year prison sentence.

Now, Kodak is being accused of assaulting a woman in a Miami strip club back in February. According to Florida's Sun Sentinel, a police report states the 19-year-old born Dieuson Octave approached 34-year-old Jennifer Cunningham, who works at the club, in a belligerent manner. When she told him to back off, he allegedly "hit her in the forehead with his right arm," and began to "punch her numerous times all over her body and then kicked her, stopping shortly after." The presumed offense is misdemeanor battery. Kodak's final violation hearing is scheduled for April 19 and will determine if he stays behind bars.
