Kojey Radical's New Single Is a Soundtrack to Human Resilience

The UK rapper has dropped "Kwame Nkrumah"—his finest single to date, and "something that young minds and forward thinkers can rally behind."

For the last year, we've been waxing lyrical about how more people need to wake up to the UK's thriving rap scenes, and at the very core of that is the compelling voice of East London's Kojey Radical. Today, we're premiering one of his finest singles yet, the fearless and throbbing sound of "Kwame Nkrumah." Kojey explains:

“I wrote this record for my Dad. Kwame Nkrumah is the first president of Ghana and the man that lead Ghana to independence. My dad would speak so highly of him. Echoing with pride what Kwame had done to unite African Nations. I wanted to continue that level of pride, do something that young minds and forward thinkers could rally behind… Like a soundtrack to human resilience. Something my people could be proud of.”
