Backstage Photos of Action Bronson Playing the Final Show at Webster Hall

The NYC venue is closing for two years before reopening under new ownership.

This past Thursday marked the final time someone would take the stage of iconic New York City venue Webster Hall in its current form. The nightclub, which has been a staple of the city's music scene for over two decades, hosted events of all kinds—from club nights to reunions for bands that really love reunions to that one time Kanye West led an army of screaming kids in streetwear down the street. In a very appropriate way, it was Queens's Action Bronson who took the stage on the closing night for an obviously dynamic performance. We sent photographer Jack Newton along the way to capture photos of the night.

On August 25, Action Bronson will release his new album Blue Chips 7000, which he told us about last month. You should pre-order it here, because it's awesome. See photos of the night below.
