Skepta Does Big Things for the Brolly in His New "No Security" Video

An umbrella, unfortunately, is not a cool accessory. Practical and necessary, certainly, but mostly destined to languish in car boots and your nan's handbag until it pisses down so hard that you are forced to use one. But, in the same way he redefined the all white tracksuit in the music video for "Shutdown", Skepta is doing big things for the humble brolly in the new visual for Konnichiwa cut "No Security." The clip catches Skep in a number of odd predicaments (including something quite weird involving mannequins and shirtless-ness), but perhaps the most #iconic moments of "No Security" are those when he puts an umbrella to work, dancing around it in a puddle, alone. This was what umbrellas were invented for. Singin' in the Rain could never. Gene Kelly who? This was the last time someone danced in water this impressively, and even then, did Justin Timberlake do the damn thing in a flat cap? No, no he did not.
