Having a Bad Day? Charly Bliss Covering "Steal My Sunshine" Will Help

'A.V. Undercover' solicited a match made in heaven.

It's pretty much universally accepted that Len's 1999 hit "Steal My Sunshine" is pure distilled happiness in a song. It's also the case that Charly Bliss, the New York four-piece who released their exceptionally good debut album Guppy earlier this year, are the sort of band whose music would soundtrack the paintball scene in a 2017 reboot of 10 Things I Hate About You if one were to happen, so buoyant and sweet does it sound. So, it's perfectly apt that for The A.V. Club's AV Undercover series (which we last covered because Cloud Nothings made "Clocks" by Coldplay sound like it had been possessed by a malevolent demon), the planets aligned so that Charly Bliss could perform a rendition of "Steal My Sunshine."

Obviously it's awesome, and Charly Bliss rock the otherwise bouncy and chill track out a little bit towards the end to put their stamp on it (although Eva Hendricks' unique vocal kinda does that all on its own). Watch above, and turn that frown upside down.
