It's really Cardi B's week, huh? After taking her monster smash "Bodak Yellow" all the way to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, she's been congratulated by hip-hop giants from Missy Elliott to Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim, and basically proved to everyone who wrote her off that she'll be sticking around for a long while yet. As if to prove it, she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (26 September), ostensibly to perform her guest verse on G-Eazy's "No Limit," but obviously ended up blowing him out of the water before she even opened her mouth.Unfortunately for G-Eazy "No Limit" is… not great. The lyrics "If I hit it one time Imma pipe her / If I hit it two times then I like her" sound even worse coming out of the mouth of a man dressed like an estate agent, and the dancers come off like a part of a low-budget music video from 2004. However, two thirds of the way through the bizarrely black-and-white performance, a shining beam by the name of Cardi B rolls through to save the day, bringing an electric energy from behind the coolest pair of oval sunglasses you'll see today.
