Brand New Cancel Upcoming UK Shows Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations

This follows singer Jesse Lacey's recent statement, apologizing for his past conduct.

Following accusations of sexual misconduct made against frontman Jesse Lacey late last week, Brand New have postponed their upcoming UK and Ireland shows. They made the announcement on Facebook on Monday morning:

As we recently reported, Lacey was accused via Facebook of abuse that included allegedly soliciting nude images from a 15-year-old when he was 24. When making his own statement, Lacey stated: "The actions of my past have caused pain and harm to a number of people, and I want to say that I am absolutely sorry," but did not address the specific allegations made.

Support acts Kevin Devine and Martha had already pulled out of the three shows. Fans are being refunded for their tickets.
