Since releasing "Trigger Bang" with Giggs back in January, the prospect of more new music from Lily Allen has been at the forefront of many a pop fan's minds. Today that hunger has been sated with not one but two new tracks, as well as the announcement of a new album, No Shame, which is her first since 2014's Sheezus.The two new singles, "Higher" and "Three", are much more mellow than anything we've heard from Allen before, mostly more in line with the sound of "Trigger Bang" than the relative brashness of her previous material. "Higher" highlights the pretty fragility of her vocal, while on "Three" she sings from the perspective of her child. From the three songs we've heard so far, it seems like No Shame will be a dialled-back, chilled out affair – the kind of thing you'd expect from Lily Allen now that she's a bit older, wiser and not out partying all night with Grimmers or whoever on the streets of Camden in trainers and a dress.
