This morning's big pop music news is that Zayn, who your mum thinks is very handsome, and Taylor Swift, who your mum thinks looks a bit sneaky, have recorded a song for the soundtrack of a film about sex called Fifty Shades Darker (the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, which featured Beyoncé on its OST) for which your mum is the specific target audience. It is a good morning for mums. "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" is a moody pop track with the sort of understated, slow-jam influenced vibe that, in my expert and completely right opinion, Zayn should have been doing since he broke away from the 1D machine. It showcases him flexing the superlative falsetto that we haven't seen enough of as yet on his singles, and exchanging lines of vague innuendo with Swift, who co-wrote the track with hip-hop producer Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff. Fifty Shades Darker is released in the UK on February 10. You can listen to I Don't Wanna Live Forever via Apple Music here. Follow Lauren on Twitter (Image via YouTube)
