Paul Cattermole from S Club 7, who will forever be otherwise known as The One Who Left to Join a Nu Metal Band, is selling his BRIT award from the year 2000 on eBay. Which is to say, this man is selling his BRIT award on eBay:

Presumably spurred on by the fact that Abz from 5ive sold his BRIT for over £1 million in 2015, Paul is selling his Best Newcomer statuette online. The eBay listing describes it thus:

Here is the 2000 Brit Award for Best Newcomer Presented To Paul Cattermole from S Club 7 .

statuette of Britannia 13 1/4 “ in height, it hasn’t been professionally polished, there are smudges that won’t come out without a pro polish. There are signs of age . Where the arms meet the shoulders at the back, and where the neck and chest blend into the top of the dress. An indentation on the inside of the helmet. That is a casting bubble and has always been there.

Helpfully, it also adds that "Paul can meet you and greet you and take photos, distance depending :-)" just in case anyone was wondering.

It's unclear what Paul is trying to fund with the sale of the BRIT (hopefully it is relaunching his nu metal career), which does have some cosmetic damage, and some might think it is a shame that he is selling what some might see as a priceless award. However it is almost at £10,000 in bids at the time of writing, so to be honest if I had a BRIT knocking around in my house I'd probably get it on eBay as well. Fair play.
