Mathew Lee Cothran has been making music for quite some time. Recording and releasing records under his own name as well as Elvis Depressedly and Coma Cinema, the South Carolina native is known for his sombre and self reflective take on DIY pop. Touching on subjects like death, sobriety and emotional isolation, it's not stuff you usually find on a 'Summer Road Trip' mix.

Loss Memory, is the final album to be released under Coma Cinema, and continues his beautifully poignant music that in the past has been compared to Elliot Smith and Death Cab For Cutie. Tracks such as "Tether" and "Running Wide Open" when he sings "ain't no furniture in our house, no screaming and fighting anymore, the living room turns blue, we're both sleeping on the floor," continue his homemade but deeply personal ruminations.

On a recent tweet Cochran shared his surprise at the reaction to the final record of the project he has been working on for 14 years.

'Loss Memory' is available now from Bandcamp.
