Travis Scott, Self-Professed Magician, Has Released a Short Film

More importantly, he has also spoken out about falling in the hole.

These are celebratory times. Without much fanfare, Travis Scott's Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight has racked up almost a billion plays on Apple Music, as well having inched into the service's top ten most streamed albums ever. In its honour, he's released a short film titled Birds in the Trap from which the main takeaway is basically #aesthetic (but of course), and now available to stream for "a limited time" via – you've guessed it – Apple Music.

While we're on the topic of La Flame, it has also come to our attention that he has addressed his involvement in the most important live music event of the year (ie: the time he fell in a hole at the Drake show in London). In a recent interview, he told GQ:

"I didn't fall, dude, I flew. I was floating. I don't fall. Shit, nothing happened. Floating is amazing. It's like getting in a plane. I just flew, man. I'm a magician, like David Blaine. I could never fall. Drake is an amazing person. Also, a magician. He's a big brother, super-talent, he's cool."

As an eyewitness to this event, I can exclusively tell you that if "flying" means stacking it down a hole like a ton of bricks, Travis did it. But you know, he's David Blaine man.

As mentioned above, you can watch Travis working his magic in the Birds in the Trap trailer below, and if you're an Apple Music subscriber, watch the whole 18-minute opus here.
