Mackned Continues to Define Emotional Trap on 'Hurt Cobain 3'

Seattle is for lovers.

Back in 2015 we brought you the second in Seattle rapper Mackned's Hurt Cobain series, describing it as a bridge between Kurt Cobain and Young Thug. Since then he's been consistently pushing forward beyond the realms of "emotional trap", knocking out G-funk bangers with The Flavr Blue, soulful collaborations with producer Eric G and dreamlike trap with Ryan Hemsworth. "Killing it", I think, is the term most often used.
