The Toronto Symphony Orchestra Just Created a Drake Medley

"These are like, real musicians, man"

More so than every other time of the year, citizens of Toronto have had red blood running through their veins for the past few weeks because of the Raptors. Making the playoffs can do a lot for the morale of a city, and it encourages citizens to show their pride in a number of original ways. The Toronto Symphony Orchestra chose to display their pride by creating a playoff themed Drake mash-up in anticipation of the home game against Brooklyn.

Combining "All Me" and "Trophies," the seven-piece orchestral group crammed into a dressing room and donned what appears to be Raptors merchandise that they've found in the trash (true for at least the two people wearing Landry Fields' jerseys) in a show of pride. There's a lot of great parts to this video, despite the fact that's it's just over a minute long. Who was the person in the group to come up with this idea? What purpose does that foam claw serve? How easy is it to move around a harp? Who gave that old man a hammer?

In a playoff series that's seen a number of barbs and IRL subtweets exchanged between Drake and Jay Z, it's good to see that classically trained musicians are still not above supporting their home squad. Now what petition do I have to sign to have this orchestra remix my Chris Brown playlist?
