Premiere: Jayd Ink Takes the "401 West" In Her New Video

Listen to the Toronto songbird tell the story of travelling across the city for a late-night rendezvous.

Jayd Ink is the latest songstress to come out of Toronto, and her new song "401 W" is literally about her coming out of Toronto. On "401 W" Ink takes the local highway to make a late-night rendezvous outside of the city. Those unfamiliar with Toronto's transportation infrastucture will know the 401 W as being the road that Drake mentions on Nothing Was The Same, but according to Jayd the song was actually inspired by a track from another OVO Sound artist:

"This song was initially a remix to PartyNextDoor's "Thirsty" record. I wrote it as a response to that song, then it became it's own thing. It's about being honest about your feelings and finally letting your guard down. It's just a nice mellow vibe with a bounce to it, it's the best of both worlds for me."
