Chief Keef Speaks Candidly About Guns and Violence on 'The Therapist'

The rapper explains his experiences in two deleted scenes from tonight's episode, airing at 10:30 EST on VICELAND.

Recently, VICELAND's The Therapist featured a session with the late rapper Prodigy, one of the last interviews he gave before his untimely death at the age of 42. Tonight's episode sees Chicago's own Chief Keef who, despite the recent success of his album Thotbreaker, has had rough experiences in the past regarding the law, and spending time in prison. In a pair of scenes from the show, Dr. Siri Sat Nam Singh sits down with the rapper to unravel his past, and asks him to reflect on his interest in violent imagery and machinery, as well as the disappointment he faced from family after spending hours behind bars. In the first clip, Sosa describes the empty atmosphere of his jail cell, and in the second, he speaks to his love of war movies and his reasons for owning a gun. Check out the clips below, and watch the full episode tonight on VICELAND at 10:30 EST.
