Watch the Trailer for 'SHOT!,' the Doc That Explores the Golden Age of Rock from Behind the Camera Lens

The VICE-produced film is coming out April 7 and follows iconic photographer Mick Rock, who worked alongside David Bowie, Lou Reed, and more.

Mick Rock spent the 70s cataloguing the outrageous, larger-than-life personalities of Queen, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, and David Bowie, serving as the latter's official photographer. Rock's dynamic camerawork graced the cover artwork of many of these bands, capturing the decadent freedom of the era. Director Barnaby Clay and VICE Documentary Films have partnered up to bring  Shot! The Psycho Spiritual Mantra of Rock to the screen April 11, 2017. The documentary examines Rock's unbelievable life with the help of rare archival footage. You can watch the trailer for the film below.
