Kanye West and T.I. Discuss Trump, Record "Ye vs the People" in New Video

Kanye West has shared an in-studio video of the creation of his latest track.

This past weekend, Kanye West released not one, but two new songs: the scatologically-focused troll “Lift Yourself” and the politically charged T.I. collaboration “Ye vs the People.” The latter track, debuted on Los Angeles station Power 106, finds Kanye and T.I. debating over America’s political situation and other topics broached in Kanye’s recent Twitter frenzy.

Today, Kanye, who films everything he does in the studio, has shared a new in-studio video of the creation of “Ye vs the People” via his website, kanyewest.com. In the three-minute video, Kanye and T.I. discuss the implications of Kanye wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat and Kanye’s support of Trump, with Kanye stating that he doesn’t agree with “half the shit Trump does.” When T.I. questions him on what half he does agree with, Kanye says he admires Trump’s “ability to do what nobody says you can do. To do the impossible is the most inspiring thing to me.” Watch the video below:
