The Birmingham, UK, MC ignited the last 12 months with this freestyle series (featured in our grime tracks of 2015), each with its own one take street video, usually shot in the face of oncoming traffic. Suitably, the culmination of her royal saga has a reflective tone to it, dissecting 2015 in a Santa hat, with snappy nods to DJ Khaled's Instagram, Miss Universe, and a wasteman remix of Adele's "Hello," resulting in a track that comes across a bit like a Charlie Brooker Year Wipe but in three minute grime format.Obviously, Lady Leshurr's output has become your go-to anthology for scathing putdowns—even Tom Jones thought "Brush your teeth!" was cold—and there's plenty of fresh fire in here to save to your iPhone notes for next time someone subtweets you. "Your lips look like crizzpy bacon" will slay many in the months to come. The video itself seems to be shot on Sunset Boulevard in LA, no doubt filmed while she was Stateside supporting Lil Wayne earlier in December, capping what has been a massive year for the seasoned MC.
