"The songs on the album were written with no intention of ever sharing them before the band existed,” says the band’s Sadye Cage. “ I was recovering from major health issues and started writing to occupy myself. The songs are honest, some to the point of being hard to share. They're all just manifestations of my bored, sick self. Ty and I made the record and started the band because we had to. The songs were there and we were inspired by them so we went with it."
