If you're not familiar, Devon Baldwin is a singer from the Bay Area. She's a new artist and you should be paying attention to her. Below, Noisey is excited to premiere three new tracks, which illustrate the versatile range of her voice. "Confession" shows Baldwin off over a beat insanely produced by JMSN that inhales and exhales classic sounding chill-out R&B jams reminiscent of The Weeknd. "Already Gone" almost distorts pop music into something sonically quieter and mysterious, but bigger in execution. And "Knock You Down" featuring Skizzy Mars starts almost like a ballad before becoming a sort of deep-house swim until Mars' verse comes up. In ten minutes, you're taken to a variety of spectrums in one seamless cruise.
