Ejji Smith Wants You to Get It On on "Get It On"

The Toronto newcomer serenades and soothes in the new sun-soaked video

Even though winter's over, we can still be a bit nostalgic through Ejji Smith's 'Get it On' video. Directed by Max Voss and videographer Sylvain Chausée, 'Get It On' follows the artist and friends as they blissfully dance around a barnyard with 80s-inspired visual aesthetics. Paired alongside Smith who serenades listeners with super smooth vocals over downtempo percussion, winter hasn't looked—or sounded—this good.

In an email to Noisey about the record Smith said, "Work, making things happen, doing what you love, making love, having fun, getting along and being content with whatever state of mind or condition you may be experiencing as a human. Get it on to get it on in order to keep getting it on. The song is an ode to Life." Watch the video above and listen to the original track below.
