Pressa Hits the Beach and Is Still More Successful Than You in "Baby Girl"

Canadians wish they had these kinds of seasons.

We posture about our coolness a lot, but Toronto really isn't shit when it comes to weather. Just this year, we've had floods and wildly vacillating temperatures, making it impossible to enjoy summer for what it should be. Maybe that's why Pressa's new video for his Press Machine ballad "Baby Girl" is such a welcome inspiration for the season. Filmed in Jamaica, the clip is pretty much just Pressa enjoying himself by the beach and in fancy hotels, which fits his omnipresent but warm hook and producer Motivated Beatz' dewy synths.

"Growing up in Toronto, girls are fascinated by jewelry and they would always ask to wear my chain," Pressa told Noisey via email. "By them wearing my chain, it symbolizes that they were my baby girl. Like Jay-Z says, 'I got the hottest chick in the game wearing my chain.'" You can watch the video for "Baby Girl" above.
