The world turns, the seasons change, right-wing TV news personalities will have garbage opinions. Lord knows I'm not about to give these people prolonged exposure (especially if they're on Fox News) or let them have the satisfaction of being roasted so I'll keep things brief.Via Consequence of Sound, Fox News talking person Katherine Timpf predicted on some talk show that Radiohead would get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (they're nominated this year) because she believes the criteria for selection is based on "fame not talent." She then dismissed the band as "elaborate moaning and whining for ringtone sounds." Admittedly, Timpf's diagnosis of Radiohead fans as "strange, malnourished, sad" is a strong read but the cutting criticism ends there.I'll really leave it at that and await the nerdbros who are going to call Timpf various misogynist names in the Facebook comments for this piece. And yet, this video contains Radiohead and people being dumb, so attention must be brought to it. This is actual hell. Like, I don't even know who this dude is below but I feel his agony in this moment:
