Jeopardy!, a television show that is pitched mostly at the aged, has tried to inch its way into the teen-fuelled viral content market over the past couple years. As Winston Cook-Wilson at Spin pointed out back in January, host Alex Trebek has been made to read ever more rap-oriented questions and answers out to an audience that won't really get the references, all in the hope of retweets and mentions. The idea is that it's funny to hear a 77-year-old television staple like Trebek annunciate Desiigner lyrics. It can, at times, feel a little cynical.

But this video of Trebek referencing Rae Sremmurd's "Lit Like Bic" and asking Jeopardy! contestants for a "three-letter word [that] means 'amazing'" on Friday night's episode is actually very satisfying. For a start, he has a good go at pronouncing Rae Sremmurd correctly, something that other TV hosts have struggled with. And nobody manages to answer correctly. Credit to Anand for thinking that "pen" would come before "Bic." It sort of makes sense.

I'm so pen.
