Animal Collective Are Gonna Keep Being Weird, But Not Too Weird, with "Kinda Bonkers"

While Baltimore/Brooklyn avant-poppers Animal Collective have now firmly settled into jam band status, they're still better and stranger than others of that ilk. New track "Kinda Bonkers" proves that as it announces the band's EP The Painters. In fact, with its tabla drumming and hippie sentiments, "Kinda Bonkers" is one of the most straightforward and feel-good things AnCo have made, which in itself is kinda weird.
