Fresh off his I Think You've Gone Mad project, Toronto rapper/filmmaker/human Swiss Army knife Sean Leon has dropped a new visual that's scored by album cut "81." The original song was already striking for its incomprehensibly heavy Eestbound beat and brief, punkish fury, but the video uses it as a jumping-off point for an exploration in mood and pacing that raises the bar for Toronto's rap visuals. This video works best with no advance spoilers, but we can say that the "81" video follows a woman as she slowly discovers that her condo is host to an unwelcome presence through classic horror tropes and steadily building dread. You'll definitely keep a closer eye on your kitchen sink from now on. Watch the "81" short film below.Phil is a Noisey Canada staff writer. He's on Twitter.
