I mean, it should have been pretty obvious, but D.R.A.M. has secretly been making musical numbers under the guise of rap. His appearance on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series surely confirms this, with a full band and no DJ support giving his outsized, warm-hearted tunes a welcome organic backing.The highlights are "Cash Machine," wherein D.R.A.M. makes the banknote counter sounds himself, and an even jazzier version of "Sweet VA Breeze."
