Smokepurpp is the new-generation rapper whose beats are among the heaviest, so it makes sense that he'd pair with Murda Beatz, a notable master of crushing bass. The pair's new single "Do Not Disturb" just premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show and it bangs so hard that it cannot contain just one rapper, which is probably why Lil Yachty and Offset are here, too. If something is heavy, you need more people to distribute the weight. That's just physics.

Speaking to Lowe, Purpp says that he has a full album incoming with Murda, citing his own tireless work ethic in the studio as the reason for being able to keep up with his peers. ("Even if I don’t record, I have to cut something or make a beat or something. I have to go to the studio every single day.") Listen to "Do Not Disturb" below and Purpp's interview with Lowe below.
