Soul Giant Charles Bradley Inspires "Change for the World" with His New Single

Dire times inspire stirring music.

Dire times inspire stirring music, and 68-year-old soul singer Charles Bradley's new single "Change for the World" flips our nation's current state of social, racial, and political tumult into a rousing anthem of empowerment. The troubadour's third album Changes is out April 1 via Daptone Records, and this new offering warns that "Hate is poison in the blood" over an ominous, horn accented groove before delivering a call-to-arms in the chorus: "We gotta change for the world." As Bradley told the Fader, "This song is about opening up our minds to understand—talk with the young people, hear what they have to say."
