Premiere: Nicxtina and Rawj Abbreviate Life's Problems With "UDKM"

See the young Toronto rapper take to a Vancouver trailer park to fulfill all of rap music's favourite stereotypes.

You may not be familiar with Nicxtina yet, but after watching her collaboration with Rawj you may want to look into the young rapper with more detail. "UDKM" was filmed in a Vancouver trailer park, with the video featuring the standard tropes you'd find in a rap video flipped on their head in order to communicate a Dude Where's My Car-lite storyline about Rawj that sees him trying to but Lean-o-nade and watching milk get poured onto a twerking dancer.

"It was kind of an idea that stemmed from the whole vibe the video was intended to give off. We didn’t want to do anything typical, but we by no means hate on gratuitous booty shaking or casual codeine sips, so we decided to incorporate some staple rap video imagery, but do it in a playful, slightly satirical manner," said the artist. "We kind of put our own spin on it without taking ourselves too seriously. The story line follows Rawj, who after a heavy turn up, can’t find his car keys or turn on his phone and kind of slips into a trailer trash version of Alice in Wonderlands rabbit hole."
