There's Nothing Nice About Ill Natured's Crushing Metallic Hardcore

New song "The Web" is like a rhino charge into the side of a jeep.

Not many have experienced a full rhino charge into the side of a safari jeep but we expect "The Web", the latest track from Ill Natured comes close to the head shattering sensation.

Taken from the Newcastle metallic hardcore band’s upcoming album Twisted Visions, it's a song that is strong on riffs and blustering shouted vocals.

“This was one of the last songs we wrote for the record, but it was one of those times where everything just clicked and came together," explains the band's Tom Maddocks via email. "I feel it's a good representation of our mission statement as a band, get behind us or get out of the way. No one has ever really given us a shot, but shortly they're not gonna have a choice. Line them up and we'll knock them down.”

Featuring apocalyptic cover art from Italian artist Paolo Girardi, best known for his work with Power Trip, the album is a follow up to the ‘The Hammer/Faced With Death’ cassette that was released last year.

The band are on their way to South East Asia to play some shows and preach the glory of the Newcastle Knights rugby league team. Listen to the track below and get your head rattled.

'Twisted Visions' is available Jan 19 through Last Ride Records (AUS) and Grim Reality Records (EU).
