Take an Uber Through Some Nice Leafy Suburbs With Terry

The Melbourne four-piece continue to tell it like it is, backed by some damn fine pop.

There's no stopping Terry. The Melbourne four-piece are a bold and active unit that write and record quality pop songs at a decent clip. Following a 2016 that included the release of an EP and full length album, and shows on the continent of Europe, Amy, Xanthe, Zeph and and Al return with a new album Remembering Terry, and another venture into the Old World with more European dates booked.

The video for "Glory", a track from the new album, was shot entirely in the old-monied New World of Bayside, Melbourne.

With synth and scrappy melody the song takes in glam country and a no bullshit approach to pop music and social observations. I've seen their songs described as "acerbic commentary" but it's just Terry being Terry, telling it how it is and writing some damn fine pop tunes. Terry we tip our tight fitting cowboys hats to you and your kind.

'Remembering Terry' is available June 30 on Upset the Rhythm.
