Check Out Alcest's New Shoegaze-y Track "Délivrance"

Black Metal No More.

One listen to Alcest's shoegaze-laced post-rock and it's easy to forget about their metal pedigree. The new track from the French duo's forthcoming LP Shelter, "Délivrance," mines similar territory as their past efforts, but instead delves deeper into pop and away from their previous penchant toward tremolo picking and blasts. Check out the new song below for the first time.

Look for Shelter on January 21st via Prophecy Productions with, appropriately enough, an appearance from Slowdive's Neil Halstead and production by Birgir Jón Birgisson (Sigur Ros).
